This Gorgeous Crochet Afghan Square Is a Burst of Colors! – [Free Pattern]

Yes, it’s absolutely beautiful!

With colors galore and a rich and pleasing texture — thanks to the crochet popcorn stitch — this 9-inch afghan square is ideal for those long-form projects; afghans, blankets, throws, and the like. It would also make a very striking potholder or a trivet.

How about a tote bag? Garments too; a coat, a long cardigan sweater or a poncho. You name it, and it’s achievable. The recommended yarn is Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice Solids, Heathers & Twists which you can buy at Amazon (paid link) — if you’d like to keep the color scheme as seen above. But it’s also great as a stash buster. You could use up some of those bits of yarn here and there and create a wonderful work of textile art.
