This lovely, textured stitch is great for blankets and afghans!
It’s absolutely gorgeous in solid colors and perfect for so many projects including shawls, ponchos, cardigans, vests, and so much more. It may look complicated but you can pick up this stitch rather quickly thanks to this excellent video tutorial. If you’ve got some leftover yarn from another project you could easily construct a smaller project, too, like a pillow or a potholder with this fabulous stitch.
This is a great video tutorial by designer Olivia of Hopeful Honey, and it’s free! You’ll be able to learn this valuable technique and add it to your repertoire very soon!
And for even more super helpful — and free! — photo and video tutorials on crocheting techniques and stitches do check out some of our other favorites we’ve previously featured at Crochet Maze. Links are below!
As always, happy crocheting!
