Who could resist?! This unbelievably cute teddy bear is not only easy to crochet, but works up very quickly with blanket yarn!

If you’ve ever struggled with crocheting stuffed animals, and found it to be a tedious and long process, no worries here with this pattern! It uses super bulky blanket yarn, and this makes for a very fast project. You’ll be able to crochet one bear and give your new friend his own companion, another bear! The bear is somewhat large, too, measuring approximately 24 inches when finished.

This wonderful, free pattern is by crochet designer Sarah of Repeat Crafter Me. The precise recommended yarn is Bernat Baby Blanket Frosting Yarn — used in the photo above — but feel free to find a good substitute so long as it is the super bulky #6 weight and it is a chenille style yarn.

Note: The free pattern itself is at the Yarnspirations website (a downloadable pdf that doesn’t require you to submit an email address or create an account). But you’ll get all the details — and many adorable photos! — at Sarah’s blog.
