A beautiful and easy to crochet flower!

You’ll very likely find plenty of uses for this lovely flower. It takes as its inspiration the classic pinwheel, and, as you will see it’s got plenty of volume and dimension. It would be great as an applique on a sweater or a T-shirt. It would also make a wonderful hair ornament. You could also string together an assortment of these flowers, garland-style, and use it to decorate your house.

It’s also perfect as a stash buster as you can transform odds and ends of yarn into a beautiful multi-color bouquet!

This fabulous pattern is also free! It’s by designer Jane of Jenny and Teddy. You will find a written pattern as well as photos. The photos — as well as the handy tutorial on the magic circle, if you need it — will guide you to success. She recommends cotton yarn but notes that that pattern works in all weights of yarn.
