A beautiful and colorful crochet blanket made with a variety of granny squares!

This is a wonderful pattern that I’m sure you’ll find useful, especially for your stash-busting needs, and it’s free! It’s bright and cheerful and allows you to express your creativity.

This is the Scrapgranny Quilt by crochet designer Jessica Potasz of Mama in a Stitch. If you’ve ever visited the Lion Brand Yarn website, for instance, you might have seen some of her patterns. They’re always creative and stellar! This one is no exception. She guides you through the process of creating creating three different types of granny squares that you’ll be using to construct the blanket. This gives the quilt-like effect. You can use her color scheme, or stick to your own, if you have favorites colors you want to use, or you want to tackle that neverending yarn stash.
