These beautiful dish cloths will brighten your kitchen!

If you enjoy Mini C2C (Corner to Corner) crochet, this is is a wonderful project. It’s also a great introduction to the technique if it’s new or unfamiliar to you.

While we often associate the traditional C2C with elaborate projects such as afghans comprised of multiple squares with an assortment of graphical images, there’s also what’s known as “Mini C2C” — a.k.a. “Modified C2C” — it uses the half double crochet stitches rather than double crochet. It works particularly well in a smaller scale. Here it’s focused on just one square — a striped dishcloth — which is both beautiful in texture and pragmatic!

This can be a very rewarding introduction to C2C as you’ll have results quickly! And if you’re experienced at the technique, it’s an easy way to work up lots of dishcoths which are perfect for gift giving or to sell for profit at crafts fairs!

It’s a free pattern, too! It’s the “Mini C2C Stripe Crochet Dishcloth” by designer Devon, the owner and editor of Midwestern Moms. You’ll find a written pattern that will guide you to success. You’ll get all the details including some very helpful photos at her site.
