A classic afghan pattern that’s a true vintage treasure!
This is a stunning afghan, and as they say everything old is new again. This amazing pattern, the Charleston Garden Afghan, was originally published in 1941 by American Thread Company and was reprinted over the years. It’s now out of print, but it’s been rescued from obscurity thanks to Free Vintage Crochet.
It’s comprised of about granny squares with a gorgeous floral motif; and the finished afghan will measure 53 x 76 inches, or 135 x 193 cm. And no question, it’s a beauty and would make a wonderful gift, or, as a keeper it will be wonderful in your home, too!
